The common faults of general air conditioner compressors are stuck, leakage, poor operation and excessive abnormal noise.

1. The air conditioner compressor is stuck. Stuck is when the air conditioner compressor is stuck and can't turn. Seizing is usually caused by poor or no lubrication.
If the clutch or transmission belt is found to be slipping, after eliminating the fault of the clutch and transmission belt, it is generally caused by the stuck air conditioner compressor.

2. Air conditioner compressor leaks. Leaks are also a common fault of air conditioner compressors. There are two types of air conditioner compressor leakage: oil leakage and air leakage. The leakage is slight, and only the refrigerant leaks; when it is serious, both the refrigerant and the refrigerating machine oil leak. If there are cracks on the cylinder body of the air conditioner compressor causing leakage, the air conditioner compressor should be replaced.

3. The air conditioner compressor is not running well. The air conditioner compressor is not running properly, and the compression produces steam with a higher temperature. This back and forth circulation will burn the refrigerating machine oil and cause the air conditioner compressor to be scrapped.

4. Abnormal noise of air conditioner compressor. Mainly caused by slippage when the clutch is engaged or due to loose or worn drive belts. Poor lubrication of the drive pulley bearing can also cause abnormal noise.
